"A Band of Toms"

Whether you need background music or a featured performer, the one-man-band sound of Dad's Noisy Basement can add an engaging musical element to any event.

My repertoire includes a sizeable catalog of original vocal and instrumental songs, plus fresh versions of some of my favorite rock, pop, rockabilly, swinging, and surf-rock tunes, absorbed from my collection of LPs, 45s, and 78s.

I create unique backing tracks to accompany each song, enhancing the live vocal and guitar with imaginative rhythms and my own background harmonies. The effect is like a "Band of Toms."

A performer and recording artist for more than 30 years, my solo act has been featured in an ongoing music series at Bradley International Airport, The Greater Hartford Arts Council's Street Stages (2023 & 2024), The Cellar on Treadwell (Hamden, CT), some private parties, a few Hartford Make Music Day performances, Hartford's West End Porchfest, the No Cover Cafe series in Enfield, CT, and some Farmers Markets.

I come equipped with my own PA (or can plug into a house system) and can perform with battery power if needed. I can handle indoor/outdoor gigs of up to 3 hours and can also perform with just acoustic guitar and vocal. Just ask!
